Leaving a Bequest
A bequest can change many lives. You can make a real difference to the good work of the Anglican Parish of Grovely by making a Will and choosing to leave a bequest which will be a lasting symbol of your generosity. Past bequests have enabled the establishment of new rural and urban ministries, community support in times of hardship and programs and facilities to help those in need.
Bequest Will Clause:
“I give and bequeath the sum of $…… (or the rest and residue of my estate) to The Corporation of The Synod of The Diocese of Brisbane for the general charitable and religious purposes of the Anglican Parish of Grovely, and the receipt of the Diocesan General Manager shall be a sufficient discharge to my executor or trustee.”

Help us to preserve our Heritage listed buildings
Our beloved St Matthew’s Hall a cornerstone of our community’s heritage, is in urgent need of restoration. For decades, its roof has sheltered generations of stories, memories, and milestones—but time and weather have taken their toll.
We’re launching a fundraising campaign to replace the roof and ensure this beloved hall stands strong for future generations. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to preserving this piece of our past.
Why it matters:
• This building has served the community hosting various events and community groups.
• It represents the spirit and resilience of our community.
• Restoration will allow it to continue serving as a space for events, education, and connection.
Our goal: $50 000
What your donation supports: Roofing materials, skilled restoration work, and long-term preservation.
How to help:
• Donate via EFT to St Matthews Project Account, BSB 704 901, ACC 00015552
Let’s come together to protect our past and invest in our future. Thank you for being part of this journey.
